May I introduce myself?
May I introduce myself?

My experience working in international organizations and corporations revealed a gap between what management and organizations offer their employees and what those employees are actually looking for in terms of their contractual, hierarchical and motivational work environment.

Topics that affect us daily driven by a global, multicultural, dispersed workforce in complex legal frameworks are changing the way we need to approach law.

My understanding and approach to law is focused on respecting cultural and situation facets of any legal negotiation.

My legal and mediation expertise showed me many times that conflicts aren’t just “legal” or “economical” but always also “emotional”, that can be solved professionally in a way that every side can save face.

I’m convinced there is always an option to find a solution in any work-related situation, it depends on motivation and dedication.

Let me assist you with my legal expertise.

Let us find a solution that’s best for you, either as a motivated employee or as a future-oriented organization.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the chances to actually improve my situation or the situation of my employees?

My experience and research have shown that employees and employers are generally interested in improving the work situation for the better. Problems arise when internal communication is difficult and somewhat “political”, preventing open dialogue on how to improve the situation for everyone. External advisory is needed to stay objective, confidential and solution-orientated.

And yes, it is possible to change our workplace situation and culture permanently.
My own and my colleagues’ experience has shown that changing legal frameworks in organizations and academia for the better is possible using legal court action, class actions or mediation while the collective effort of all stakeholders is always key for a commonly accepted solution.

Do I always need to go in front of a court or are there other legal options?

No. My services are orientated on mediation and going through the path of court action is, except for criminal cases, always the last option taken.

I live in Switzerland and your are a French Attorney. Can you still help me?

As this is international labour law, you only need one licensed lawyer to assist you. Use the possibilities of digital communication and of course I am also available in person if you wish.

Honorarium

Honorarium

My principle is based on the idea of a fair honorarium with no surprises.

You will get an estimate of cost based on the type and complexity of the case and always before any intervention.

This procedure is part of building an atmophere of trust between you, the client and me, your lawyer.

Choose from different billing methods that fits best your situation and case:

  • Based on results (limited to specfic financial situation and complexity of case)
  • Hourly rate
  • Fixed price and Flat rate
  • By monthly subscription

The fees cover reflection, research, strategy definition, file analysis, situation audit, drafting, client meetings and video and telephone conferences.

Only if travel is necessary for your specific case the hourly rate is charged at 20-50%.

In addition, the costs of the case are charged and correspond to the expenses incurred for the implementation of a lawsuit including, if necessary, the costs of the bailiff and the expertise.

The lawyer’s services are subject to VAT at the rate of 20%.
